Allow Henchmen in UW and FoW
There are just too many good reasons for letting us use henchmen in UW and FoW http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...light=henchmen.
Also, there is not enough content for those who have completed all the missions a few times. ANet is adding new content to address that but please help us customers out and expand the use of UW and FoW by allowing henchmen there.

LOL Maybe they would use Mhenlo instead and Lina, Alesia is a newb and needs to be put in pre-searing to learn how to play a monk, oh wait, in pre-searing monks are tanks. lol

I don't know why they took them away in the first place... I guess they just thought they would not last long enough to make your 1K worth the visit..

actually, why not make a sorta staging area part of the underworld.
and a set of 8 special Underworld Bound henchies.
for some reason, they are bound to the UW and Fissure, and they cannot leave it, so they could be toughter than the surface henchies.
perhaps some of them are cursed, forever to walk the Underlands, untill they have done enought to pay back some past wrong...
others could be there because they have loved ones there and do not wish to leave them, or because the Gods decreed they should stay there.
by letting you group up IN the UW, it solves the problem of taking the extra tough henchies with you, still alowing people to use the topside 8 for surface raids
make these undeworld 8 assended and infused also

The current henchies already are ass-ended
Sorry Rayea, no offence intended, I know exactly what you meant! It just seemed too appropriate.
Let's say it was a subconscious mis-spelling...
It's a good idea though. Might be easier just to ascend and infuse the current henchies though...surely that can't be too difficult.

I've always supported this idea. Sure Henchies are brain dead but it can sometimes be very difficult to get a good team together. & just imagine if they raised the level of the henchies in TOA to 20 & added in Lina - Im sure it would make FOW/ UW much more accessable.

I agree, great idea. I have 3 ascended characters, but have never been in either the underworld or fissure, as I am in a small guild, and never wanted to disappoint a random pug by being down there with them with no idea what to do or what skills would work best. Even if I got my ass kicked with henchmen, I could gain some experience about skills that worked and mob abilities and types on those trips, so I was useful when I went with a human group.

The UW and Fissure staging area idea sounds like a good thing to add.

hehe, Ooma, i often spell that wrong, i get ass and as and even acc sometimes.
personaly, i would not realy care if they alowed boosted versions of the above ground henches in there..in fact that would work fine with somehting im writing right now, cause if the henches never got into the UW, theres no reason to have them doing it in a story lol, other than *poetic licence*
sugested the UnderLands Eight, with a full set of Fissure Armour, mainly so that we could get a good look at it ^^ and have someone new to play alongside.
course, taking a pumped up version of Alesia and Claude and co...just shame that its 4>6>8 rather that 5>7>9 per group, then i could take em all with me and not leave some behind....i always feel such a jerk leaving a henchie or two behind

Any particular reason - for both?
A mighty fine idea - and take away the need for Europe to gain favour to get there at the same time.

I like the staging area idea. I'd like to explore UW/FoW with henches and not have to worry about other people leaving or wanting to do something else.

Yeah, removing henchies was a weird decision. It goes so against the idea of accessibility, just log in and play 30min etc. I'm not a programmer, but I can't see why preventing unascended players in UW/FoW necessarily is linked to preventing henchmen from going there. To me it more looks like anet is intentionally forcing grouping with players. Would be nice to hear an official statement about what the purpose was (or was there one and I missed it)
Anyhow, strongly support the staging area idea. Pls open these areas up again!
